Oil draining inherently opens the system to the atmosphere, elevating risk. The Oil Minion™ provides an added layer of protection by routing oil (and entrained ammonia) from the system into a dedicated separator tank, then scrubbing residual vapor through an adsorption tank designed to mitigate ammonia escape into the workspace.
System layout at a glance.
At the hose inlet, an oil drain valve and sight glass give operators visual control over flow. Inside the separator tank, oil is separated from most entrained ammonia; if foaming occurs, an oil de-foaming gearbox can be used to calm the tank. Remaining vapor routes to the adsorption tank via its vent path, while an oil pump and isolation valve simplify measured transfer to used-oil storage with the oil volume meter.
Safety-first design cues.
Critical on-unit labels reinforce safe operation: the oil tank is non-pressurized; the adsorption tank vent must remain unobstructed; and the separator tank vacuum break must not be plugged.
Built for the plant floor.
A stainless-steel cart with non-marking wheels supports transport across the facility, and the compact 62″ × 55″ × 24″ footprint fits typical mechanical-room constraints.

Warranty
All CCA Technologies’ (CCA Tech) products are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from date of shipment from originating factory. This warranty is in force only when products are properly installed, field assembled, maintained, and operated in use and serviced as specifically stated in the CCA Tech Bulletins for normal refrigeration applications, unless otherwise approved in writing by CCA Tech. Defective products, or parts thereof, returned to the factory with transportation charges prepaid and found to be defective by factory inspection will be replaced or repaired at CCA Tech, free of charge F.O.B. factory. Warranty does not cover products that have been altered, or repaired in the field; damaged in transit, accidents, misuse, or abuse. Products disabled by dirt, paint, or other foreign substances will not be considered defective. The express warranty above constitutes the only warranty of CCA Tech products, and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, written or oral, including any warranty of merchantability or warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and in no event is CCA Tech responsible for any consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. No employee, agent, dealer or other person is authorized to give any warranties on behalf of CCA Tech or to assume for CCA Tech any other liability in connection with any of its products.
